“How do I know this will actually work?”

You’ll have a good idea if this is something you’d like to continue investing in within 2–3 sessions.

My goal isn’t to keep you in endless talk therapy and coping skills like many counselors and therapists out there. It’s focused, direct, and results-driven. If it’s not working, we’ll both know.

“I’ve already tried therapy, filters, accountability groups... what makes this different?”

Most of those “solutions” are about managing symptoms. My intention is to go for the root cause of whatever is causing you anxiety, distress, or laying at the heart of any addiction.

This is not about more discipline—it’s about healing the emotional wounds that got buried and never addressed.

“What if I’m too messed up?”

You’re not. You’re just tired of carrying pain that was either never yours to begin with or you never asked for.

And trying to white-knuckle your way through it doesn’t work. We deal with the real root cause together.

One determining factor in the success of this process is the degree to which you believe you can heal. Clients who have given up on themselves achieve little success. Those with real hope for the future have the greatest rate of success. (or however you want to word that better.)

“What do sessions actually look like?”

Simple. I follow a 3-step process that consists of:

  1. Naming the pattern
  2. Finding the root
  3. Telling your mind: “We don’t need this anymore.”

Your mind acts as if it has little hands—it grips and holds onto old pain. The good part for you is you can tell your mind to let go. I help you loosen the grip.

In the event that challenges or obstacles arise, I have the tools to move you through them.

Each session is 45 minutes long. Typically I recommend we start by meeting weekly to build good momentum and a steady rhythm for success. Once we’re closer to meeting our goals, we’ll adjust to biweekly or even monthly sessions to tie up any loose ends.

For those who can’t afford weekly sessions, we use a 4-on-4-off cycle, so we get four weeks in a row of good steady work, then take a month off, then meet again for four, weekly sessions.

“Do you work with women?”

Yes. While most of my male clients come in for issues like pornography or same-sex attraction, many women reach out because of anxiety, emotional trauma, effects of childhood sexual abuse, or relational pain.

Different symptoms. Same process. Same transformation.

“I’m scared to be judged or to fail again.”

Then you’re in the right place. The success of the process relies on the client (that’s you) being open about your failures so we can identify the root cause of it, so frequent failures between sessions are no surprise. They’re often part of the process. I won’t scold you. I won’t even be disappointed or discouraged. I’ll ask you questions to find the root cause. You’ll be met with professionalism, empathy, and truth, not shame.

“Is this Christian counseling?”

Sort of. It’s faith-informed—not churchy or preachy. No religious clichés. Just truth, order, and a spiritual lens that actually makes sense of your story.

I am Catholic and I work from a Catholic perspective of how and why man was created so I can help my clients find the path back to what God has for them in their lives.

“How much does it cost?”

$160 per session. No insurance. We start with a free 15-minute consultation to make sure it’s the right fit.

“Do you accept insurance?”

Self pay only. No insurance.

“What if I can’t explain what’s wrong?”

That’s more common than you think. You don’t need a perfect story. You just need to be present. I’ll ask the right questions. We’ll get to the core quickly.

“I'm worried that some of what bothers me is quite embarrassing to tell. Is that normal?”

Absolutely. 100%. You can say things you’ve never said out loud. You won’t shock me. And I won’t shame you. Telling me the embarrassing stuff will actually speed up the process.
